The Manchu Studies Group is delighted to collaborate with Xefjord’s Complete Language Series in creating an Anki deck for 200 commonly-used Manchu words and phrases, with the translations and recordings generously provided by Wanggiyan Sure. From Xefjord’s website:
Xefjord’s Complete Language Series was created with the mission of providing free language learning courses for every known living language. Xefjord was driven to start this project because he believes that every culture is inherently valuable and important to our humanity and global well being, and that languages are the gateway towards preserving and promoting those cultures. The goal of this project is to create equal opportunity of learning and create widely accessible resources.
In the interest of making the deck accessible to the widest range of users, we have created three versions: Manchu script, Norman transliteration, and Abkai/Taiqing transliteration. We recommend installing a Manchu font if you plan to use the Manchu script version.
